Abstract
PURPOSE:To always perform optimum working by changing the working electrical conditions to obtain appropriate work-feeding speed depending on plate thickness. CONSTITUTION:When the wire electrode 1 approaches the plate thickness change section of the work piece 2, the new plate thickness after the change of the plate thickness is input to the plate thickness-speed changer 10 by the NC tape 9. The plate thickness-speed changer 10 calculates the work-feeding speed of the feed work piece 2 depending on the plate thickness and outputs this to the electrical condition setting device 11. The electrical condition setting device 11 increases or decreases the electrical condition, i.e., working energy to the working power supply 3 so that the work-feeding speed can be rendered equal to the optimum feeding speed.
