Abstract
PURPOSE: To oxidize a nucleotide in one stage without requiring a dehydrating agent, by using the nucleotide captured in a specific organic ammonium salt as a raw material.
CONSTITUTION: A nucleotide is brought into contact with and captured in an insoluble aromatic high polymer bonded to an N,N'-di long-chain alkyl or alkenyl diammonium salt or N-long-chain alkyl or alkenylammonium salt of 1,4-diazobicyclo[2.2.2]-octane. A compound of formula I or II (R1 and R2 are 8W22C alkyl or alkenyl groups; P is insoluble aromatic high polymer; X1 - and X2 - are anions) may be used as the agent. The captured nucleotide in then phosphorylated with a phosphorylating agent, e.g. POCl3, in an organic solvent.
