Abstract
PURPOSE:To always obtain the best receiving state by providing the circuit which corrects the deterioration with age for the IF filter to the AFC circuit and thus fitting the oscillation frequency of VCO to the best point of the IF filter. CONSTITUTION:Switches 2 and 11 are turned off and on respectively when the characteristics of IF filter 5 varies, and thus voltage DELTAV corresponding to the central frequency of filter 5 is generated at the output of detector 6 and then supplied to reference voltage generator 12 via LPF9 to be then stored. This voltage DELTAV is turned into the non-inverse input of differential amplifier 10 to be used for the reference voltage. Then switch 2 is turned on with switch 11 turned off each, and as a result the servo lock circuit leads in the oscillation frequency of VCO8 toward point A. Accordingly, the coincidence is secured between the S characteristics of detector 6 given with the correction of voltage DELTAV and the characteristics of filter 5, thus minimizing occurrence of the distortion.
