Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve responsiveness of a steering of power steering gear by a system wherein an oil flow-way passing through a spool used for a valve is changed smoothely in proportion to the steering reaction force torque.
CONSTITUTION: A hollow main shaft 2 used for the steering is disposed within the valve housing, the main shaft 2 having a torsion bar 3 within the inner section thereof. A valve spool 21, which is disposed concentrically around the main shaft 2 and formed movably in an axial direction is retained with a ball 15 which moves along a groove 13 provided for the main shaft 2. Besides, a pin 17 secured with the torsion bar 3 in extending to the radial direction is latched with the notch 16 defined at the valve spool. Then, said groove 13 and notch 16 are provided to form a twisted angle.
