Abstract
PURPOSE: To produce electric energy through efficient use of pressure energy possessed by mixture fluid at the outlet of a geothermal well, by providing at the outlet of the geothermal well a total-flow turbine which produces electric energy by use of the pressure of a mixture fluid and reduces the fluid pressure at the outlet of well and also the separator pressure.
CONSTITUTION: A total-flow turbine 8 is disposed at a portion between geothermal well 2 and separator 4, and by use of generator 6', electricity of electric energy is produced by introducing into total-flow turbine 8 a mixture fluid of steam and heated water flowing out from well 2 while keeping its pressure at the outlet of well 2, and expanding the mixture fluid to the pressure of separator 4. Steam discharged from the total-flow turbine 8 is introduced into separator 4 and then into steam turbine turbine 1 for generating electricity by generator 6. On the other hand, heated water drained from the total-flow turbine 8 is discharged to the outside together with wet condensate separated in separator 4. Thus, pressure energy possessed by the mixture fluid can be utilized efficiently.
