Abstract
PURPOSE:To make loudness control by automatically varying the characteristics of an amplifier according to the magnitude of an input signal, by forming a fixed circuit. CONSTITUTION:An input signal from input terminal 2 is amplified by amplifier 1, the output of which is positively fed back to voltage variable attenuator 7 via parallel-connected LPF5 and HPF6. The attenuation of attenuator 7 is controlled by controller 8 according to the level of the input signal. In this controller 8, the input signal is level-detected through filter 9 and rectifier 10 and according to the level of the output voltage, comparator 11 generates corresponding pulses, which are integrated to generate a control signal, thereby adjusting the attenuation of attenuator 7. Thus, the sense of hearing high frequency high frequency range and low frequency range sounds depending upon the magnitude of the input signal can automatically be corrected.
