Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate fabrication of a thin type battery by forming the coat required for jointing on the required surface of a package member consisting of insulating and conductive materials using the vacuum deposition method. CONSTITUTION:The outer frame 8 is made of insulating materials such as alumina and ceramic. The coat required for jointing is coated on the jointing section with the conductive materials to be sealed using the vacuum deposition, sputtering, and CVD methods. Then required surface treatment is applied on the sealing plate 9 made of conductive materials and it is pressed in the outer frame 8. Subsequently, the packing 11 is pressed in the edge of the sealing plate 9, the negative electrode flux 2 or the negative electrode member 12 is inserted into the sealing plate 9, and electrolyte 3 is injected. After that, the separator 4 is put and the positive flux is inserted. The sealing plate 10 consisting of conductive materials is covered and the coated section of the outer frame 8 is jointed by laser welding and sealed with it.
