Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the distortion of the dots written on a photosensitive drum by modulating and deflecting a laser beam, generating clock signal according to the voltage of the waveform of a sine waveform generating circuit and supplying the point row signal conforming to the clock signal to a modulating device.
CONSTITUTION: This consists of a rotary mirror 2 for having the laser beam from a laser beam generator 4 modulated by a modulating device 10, polarizing this and radiating the same on a photosensitive drum 1, a sine wave generating circuit 9 which generates the signal of sine waveform, a voltage control oscillation circuit 8 which generates the clock signal according to the voltage of sign waveform and a logic control part 7 which supplies the point row signal conforming to the clock signal to the modulating device. Since not the clock signal of a fixed interval but the clock signal having been modulated to sine waveform is generated from the oscillation circuit 8, the laser beam scanning on the photosensitive drum 1 through the modulator 3 and rotary mirror 2 becomes even and extremely beautiful point row of an equal spacing.
