Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a bottle for cosmetics having a transparent bottle neck portion and an opaque cylindrical portion by a method wherein a preform obtained by injection molding of a resin having a repeating unit equal to that of ethylene terephthalate and blended with a specified amount of a styrene resins is utilized. CONSTITUTION:A composed material of resin consisting of 95-60wt% of thermoplastic polyester resin having a main repeating unit equal to that of ethylene terephthalate and 5-40wt% of styrene series resin is prepared. This composed material of resin is molten, extruded and formed by means of injection molding, and thereby, a preform is obtained. This preform is formed by blow forming under a condition that an elongation temperature is about 80-160 deg.C and a total elongation magnification is about 1.5-20.
