Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the estimate coding efficiency, by suppressing the quantized error of reproduced picture through assembling the noise rejection filter in the estimate coding loop. CONSTITUTION:The difference between the input signal X1 and the estimate value -X1'' is taken with the differential circuit 11 of the coding unit 1', the estimated error O1 is quantized at the difference quantizing circuit 12, the difference quantized value Z1' and the estimated value -X1'' are added at the addition circuit 13 to form the value of video element decoding value X1'. This decoding value X1' is fed to the noise rejection filter circuit 32 reducing the noise together with the video element reproduced value up to now stored in the memory circuit 14, to form the reproduced value X1'' reducing noise. Further, the noise rejection filter circuit 32 is provided at the output side of the addition circuit 23 of the decoding unit 2' to output the reproduced value reducing noise. Further, the quantized error is reduced than the quantized value DELTAO1' in first rough quantization to obtain the reproduced value reducing noise and the estimate coding efficiency is increased.
