Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the entry of harmful rays into other photoelectric elements and enable accurate focusing detection by letting the portions where a pair of photoelectric elements adjoin or the lens element portions corresponding to the portions between the elements be notched parts or light-absorbing parts.
CONSTITUTION: The triangular portions formed by the normal refractive rays l1', l2' of the outermost effective rays l1, l2 from the both sides incident to respective lens elements and the bottoms of the lens elements are made into notched parts 4a, 4b, 4c... with respect to all the lens elements and the notched parts approximately the same shape as that of these are provided as 5a, 5b, 5c... to the portions where respective pairs of photoelectric elements on the lens element bottom adjoin. Then, even if the respective incident rays l1Wl6 etc. cause irregular refraction, their incidence to the other photoelectric elements may be prevented from these notched parts and the accurate focusing detection may be accomplished.
