Abstract
PURPOSE:To protect a disk in stop mode from dust by forming a thermally stable part by providing a board for radiation in the enclosure of a disk assembly. CONSTITUTION:Heat sinks 5... are elongated into enclosure 4 and when a disk unit stops to cut off a power supply, they are thermally stabilized quickly in terms of time as compared with disks 8, etc. Therefore, external dust intruding into enclosure 4 through air vents 6 and 7, etc., and that of disks 8 move toward, stay on and stick to heat sinks 5 superior in thermal stability. As a result, the probability that dust sticks to disks 8 lowers greatly.
