Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent deformation generated at mounting bearing members from spreading to the connecting parts between thrust bearing members by forming multiple slits at the end parts at which cylindrical thrust bearing members are fixed to each other.
CONSTITUTION: When a rotating body 3 in a rotating oil supplier is rotated in the horizontal direction on a fixed body 2 through a bearing device 1, the 2nd thrust bearing member 5 fixed to the rotating body 3 turns horizontally to the 1st thrust bearing member 4 fixed to the fixed body 2 through steel balls 6. A multitude of slits 11 with nearly circular groove bottom parts 11A are formed on the bearing member 4 from their lower edge part 4B to the axial direction. When screws 12 are screwed strongly against some gaps between the beraing member 4 and a fitting part 9, deformation of the bearing member 4, if it occurs, is restricted within a domain enclosed by the slits so that the rotation of the members 4, 5 is not interrupted.
