Abstract
PURPOSE: To make pump characteristic easily changeable by making a house volume adjustable through a simple means in a pump such as diaphragm pump.
CONSTITUTION: For diaphragm pump, a hole 14 through to a pump house 4 is perforated in a base plate 13 working as a body, an adjust screw 15 is thrusted in the hole 14, and a unit 16 with a constant volume is provided on the tip of he adjust screw 15. Then, an O ring 17 is interposed between the adjust screw 15 and the base plate 13, and an O ring retaining ring 18 is provided to prevent the air from leaking. From operating the adjust screw 15, the unit 16 with a constant volume comes in and out of the pump house 4 to adjust the house volume. The pump characteristic can thus be changed easily.
