Abstract

PURPOSE: To quickly cut a pipe by four cutting blades attached on a pair of arms merely by turning a handle for approximately 90°.
CONSTITUTION: A pipe 9 is located between four cutting blades 3 fitted on a pair of arms 2. A handle 5 is turned in the direction to make a sliding piece 4 advance so that the four cutting blades 3 are pushed against the pipe 9. Then the handle 5 is turned around the pipe 9 while turning the handle 5 around its axis. The pipe is cut off by turning the handle 5 around the pipe 9 for an angle approximately 90° as four cutting blades are provided around the pipe 9.
