Abstract

PURPOSE:To moisten fine particle dust to a moisture holding amount suitable for post-treatment for a short time by carrying out water pouring, stirring and exhausting as one cycle to moisten. CONSTITUTION:When a predetermined amount of dust in a dust collecting tank 18 is recovered, an electric motor 16 of a supply screw is rotated by a detector 17 and collected dust is supplied to a treating tank 1 from a door. When a definite amount is supplied, a screw 15 is stopped and a shaft 6 is rotated by an electric motor 12 to stirr collected dust in a tank at high speed of 100-800 RPM for 1-6 min and, simultaneously, a solenoid valve 4 is opened to scatter a set amount of water within a water storage tank 5 from a nozzle 3 into a tank. After few minutes, a openable and closable door 9 is automatically opened to exhaust moistened dust onto a belt 14. This treating operation is carried out as one process and continuously repeated during the operation of a detector 15.
