Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify the structure, manufacturing and machining of an internal combustion engine and to improve its combustion efficiency, by shaping the inner peripheral surface of cylinder and the outer peripheral surface of rotors both in a circular form, and constituting the turning members only by the rotors, rotor ring and rotary partition means.
CONSTITUTION: At an upper portion of engine body 1, there are provided fuel operating section 10 and output operating section 30 having substantially the same structure, which are carried on a common shaft 18 side by side in two stages. These two operating sections 10, 30 have respectively rotors 12, 32 which are fixed on shaft 18 eccentrically to respective casings 11, 31, and the rotor 12 is arranged such that its guide groove 13 is turned with delay of about 120° to the guide groove 33 of rotor 32. A rotary partition means, including partition plates 20, 40 fitted in respective guide grooves 13, 33 in freely slidable manner, is provided with support rod 24 which is formed with an elongated hole 25 and connected integrally to the rear portion of partition plates. Shaft 18 is extended through the elongated hole 25. Further, support rod 24 is supported by pin 42 on rotor ring 41 which is supported on cylindrical support 27 fixed concentrically in the casing.
