Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a biaxially stretched tubular plastic film of a high thickness uniformity, by using a hot air blower ring which is adapted to supply hot air to such a portion of a plastic tube material that is immediately before a stretching zone and which is divided into several sections to allow the temperature of hot air from each section to be regulated in accordance a lateral displacement of the plastic tube material, whereby the stretching bubble can be stabilized.
CONSTITUTION: The eccentricity of a starting tube 1 is detected by detector unit 7 (7-1W7-4), from which a signal is sent to a regulator 8, whereby the temperature of a section regulation heater unit 9 is regulated. The detector 7-1 is opposed to a section 9-1 of a hot air blower ring 6, the detector 7-2 to a section 9-2, and so on. Air is supplied to the hot air blower ring 6 by a blower 12. The air from the blower 12 is heated to a predetermined temperature by a heater 10 in cooperation with a thermometer 11 so as to be fed to each section of the hot air blower ring 6 separately. Even when a starting tube has unavoidable or uncontrollable overs and shorts in thickness, and even when a starting tube is heated in an unbalanced manner, it can be stretched stably so that a product of an excellent quality can be obtained.
