Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the corrosion in piping very efficiently without using a specially complicated device by pushing air, nitrogen, or other pressurized gases constantly into the piping to prevent the entering of corrosive gases.
CONSTITUTION: Into an emergency spray piping 14 arranged in an entrance duct part 1 of a combustion apparatus, the air or a gas is pushed or introduced without using a specially complicated device by using the bubbling air for an oxidizing tower or a part of a very small amount of compressed air to be used for other various driving sources. This construction serves to check the entering of exhaust gas containing sulphur oxide from the duct 1 into the emergency spray piping 14. Thus, even conventional high-class stainless steel that used to be corroded for a year or so is essentially prevented from corrosions. Even if ordinary stainless steel is used, it can be sufficiently resistive against corrosions.
