Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the atomization and the mixing of cooling water, and to heighten the temp. reducing effect, and means of setting up a cooling water nozzle at the confluent part of steam piping.
CONSTITUTION: Steam pipings 16 are connected to a exhaust piping 17 by a mixing part 6. Orifices 19 are arranged to the steam pipings 16 in the front of the mixing part 6, and a cooling water nozzle 18 is arranged on the confluent part of the steam pipings 16. The steam flowed in from an upperstream side (a) raises the flow velocity by means of being squeezed by the orifices 19, and the steam flows from the both directions are striked at the mixing part 6, and are flowed to the down stream while large turbulence is generating. The cooling water is ejected to the center of a striking point of this steam from the cooling water nozzle 18, and heat exchange is effected by means of allowing to be atomized, and to be dispersed at the same time by large turbulence due to the strike of the steam.
