Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the operation expenses of a cooling and heating apparatus by improving the room temperature rise by effectively blowing hot air and heating the floor only at heat starting time and thereafter shifting to the floor heating.
CONSTITUTION: When a four-way valve 3, a three-way valves SV1, SV2 are set at predetermined positions in cooling operation, refrigerant compressed by a compressor 2 dissipates heat from an outdoor heat exchanger 4 and absorbs heat by an indoor heat exchanger 15. The valve 3 is reversely set in heating operation. When the valves SV1, SV2 are set as predetermined at starting time, the refrigerant is alternatively circulated between the cold unit 13 and the panel 7 to thus alternatively repeat the hot air blowing and floor heating operations several times. When the room temperature thus increases over predetermined value, the refrigerant is then circulated only through the panel 7 for the floor heating operation.
