Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an adhesive for chemical plating having excellent soldering resistance and electrical insulation, and useful to form a firmly bonded metal layer on an insulator by chemical plating, comprising an acrylonitrile rubber, a thermosetting resin, and a chlorosulfonated polyethylene resin.
CONSTITUTION: A composition composed of (A) 30W60 wt% of acrylonitrile rubber obtained by the copolymerization of acrylonitrile and butadiene or a terpolymer of the above components and a third component, e.g. acrylic acid, (B) 65W 25 wt% of a thermosetting resin, e.g. epoxy resin, phenolic resin, polyester resin, etc. and (C) 5W15 wt% of a chlorosulfonated polyethylene resin.
