Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a kitchenware cleaning apparatus, in which hypochlorous acid is used for cleaning agent, whereby it is enabled to clean a variety of food soil in a short while.
CONSTITUTION: Soiled kitchenware A is placed in cleaning chamber 2, and water or hot water is supplied from hot-water supplying pipe 11 to preclean the kitchenware A. Then, detergent is supplied from detergent supplying means 15, and hot water is injected, together with detergent, into chamber 2 from cleaning nozzle 8. Simultaneously with cleaning process with detergent, or otherwise at an intermediate time between cleaning process with detergent and subsequent rinsing process, solution of hypochlorous acid is supplied from means 16 and ejected into cleaning chamber 2 from cleaning nozzle 8, thereby completely cleaning the kitchenware. Here, hypochlorous acid is used in the form of aqeous solution of calcium hypochlorite or sodium hypochlorite higher than 0.5% in concentration. Thereafter, kitchenware is rinsed with water or hot water.
