Abstract
PURPOSE: To considerably reduce NOx in exhaust gas by utilizing gradual combustion mechanism and exhaust gas circulating mechanism and using exhaust gas which contains NOx in large quantity as combustion air and using the emulsified fuel formed from liquid oil and water as fuel.
CONSTITUTION: the exhaust gas which is blown into from an air blowing port 6 and contains NOx and in less than the theoretical air amount forms primary air 7, and a portion of combustion gas 9 self-circulates into the part before a venturi 8 due to the operation of the venturi. Into said recirculating hot gas, the fuel which is supplied in a fixed raio of liquid oil 1 and water 2 by fixed ratio feeding apparatuses 3 and 4 and emulsified by an agitator 5 is sparayed from a burner chip 10, and primary combustion is performed. After the completion of primary combustion and the removal of NOx, the combustion gas is perfoectly combusted in a secondary combustion chamber 12 into which secondary air 11 is supplied.
