Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a fender device which is not affected by rust and moisture or the like with simple mechanism by hinging itself with quaywall via circular rod and link.
CONSTITUTION: A circular rod 1 is telescopically disposed with respect to the quaywall 2 and retained at predetermined position by coupling a bracket 3a secured to the quaywall 2 via pins 3b with a plurality of holes 4 perforated at the rod 1. A fender 8 is hinged via a mounting plate 7 having the bracket 6 with the end of the rod 1 and is secured with a collision bearing plate 9 to the end thereof. The pin 3b is pulled out. Then, the rod 1 is telescoped along the striped groove 5 to the necessary position by a winch 18 to again insert the pin 3b into the holes 4. Thus, the axis of the fender 8 can be always retained horizontal regardless of the telescoping position.
