Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare the title composition of improved flame-retardant dispersibility, having good flame-retardancy and mechanical properties baloncing each other, also free from flame-retardant bleedout, by incorporating a polyamide resin with a small amount of a specific phenol.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition can be prepared by incorporating (1) a polyamide with (2) 1W40 (pref. 5W15) wt. % of a triazine-adduct powder of a diameter of pref. 100μ or less, formed from a) at least one compound selected from melamine, guanamine, and their derivatives, and b) at least one compound selected from cyanuric acid, isocyanuric acid and their derivatives, and (3) 0.1W3.0 (pref. 0.3W2.0) wt. % of a phenol compound of formula (R1 and R2 are each H, amino, hydroxyl, or 1W5C alkyl; R3 is H, amino, hydroxyl, 10W20CWaliphatic-, aromatic-, or heterocylic-hydrocarbon group).
