Abstract
PURPOSE: To establish the automatic equalizer simple and stable, by detecting the difference between the maximum and minimum value of leading and trailing of the received pulse signal and controlling the corrective means so that the detected value can be minimized.
CONSTITUTION: Demodulation signal is fed to the terminal 1, and the pulse signal of (a) is received at the output of the switch circuit 6 at a knwon time. The switch circuit 13 is driven, the voltage across the capacitor 11 is erased in advance, the switch 7 is opened with the signal (c), and the maximum value Pm1 at the leading period of reception pulse is stored in the capacitor 11. Similarly, after erasing the voltage of the capacitor 12 with the switch 14, the switch 8 is opened with the signal (e) and the maximum value Pm2 of the trailing period of the reception pulse is stored in the capacitor 12. The polarity of the difference of the voltages across the capacitors 11 and 12 is judged with the comparison circuit 15 and the switch circuit 6 is controlled with the control circuit 16, and the correction circuits 2 to 5 are inserted. When the switch 6 is fixed at the point where the polarity of the output of the circuit 15 is changed, Pm1-Pm2 is minimized and the signal corrected for optimum manner can be outputted from the terminal 17.
