Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a swivel nut readily performable to make fastening even though there is a slight deviation between fitting bores and fitting screws by constituting the fitting screws (nuts) freely movable.
CONSTITUTION: A nut 11 is fitted onto a frame or a box 13, etc. together with a receiving ware 12 by screwing or rivetting. Said nut 11 is formed by a cube head 11a which is dug a screw bore, and a columnar part 11b which is made incorporatively with that. Thus, when a door or a pannel 14, etc. is screwed up, even though turning effort of the screw is added, since the cube head 11a is locked on the flank of a retaining part 12a of the receiving ware 12, screwing can be done readily. On the other hand, said columnar part 11b is idly inserted with a bore 12b of the receiving ware 12, to preclude the nut 11 from dropping off the receiving ware 12. In addition, it is used for absorbing an error between a fitting pitch of the panel 14 and the detent pitch of the box 13.
