Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a control system which is contemplated for use in a hot- air heating apparatus, in particular, of the type using petroleum for its fuel, and which is capable of simplifying use of the apparatus and improving safety of its operation.
CONSTITUTION: The control system comprises a temperature detector 15 for detecting room temperature or temperature of intake air, a temperature setting means, an AD converting means 75 for converting differential signal between said detector 15 and temperature setting means into digital quantity, means 17 for controlling amount of combustion air to be supplied to burner 7, and a digital control section 76 for processing, according to prescribed programme, data from said AD converting means 75 by way of logical operation and thus controlling the function of said means 17 and others. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to simplify the use of a hot-air heating apparatus and to improve safety of its operation.
