Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a miniature and cheap circuit with its constitution simplified by using a delay unit for both delay circuit and delay line filter. CONSTITUTION:A sound signal from input terminal 1 has its fixed frequency band filtered by delay line filter 2 and is delayed by a fixed time before being extracted from output terminal 3 as low-band output signal L, and it is also supplied to coefficient arithmetic circuit 4 with coefficients K1 and K2, where coefficient K2 is given. The signal delayed by a fixed time by filter 2, on the other hand, is supplied to coefficient arithmetic circuit 4, where it is given coefficient K1, and then extracted from output terminal 5 as high-band output signal H. Namely, the signal supplied to circuit 4 is obtained from the outputs of adder 8 of filter 2 and the output of delay unit 63, so that delay circuits can be reduced in number to obtain the miniature and cheap circuit.
