Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a highly efficient cooling operation, by such means that with a thermometer, for generating an electric signal correspondingly a change of internal temperature, provided, an air quantity and opening degree of damper in the ventilation system be controlled by an output signal from said thermometer.
CONSTITUTION: With a damper 13, for adjustably controlling a ventilation air quantity, and a ventilating fan 16 installed to an exhaust port 12 of a plurality of enclosed switchboards 5 to 10, and with a thermometer 14, for generating an electric signal correspondingly to a change of internal temperature, provided in the switchboard, an air quantity of the damper 13 and an operational interval of the ventilating fan 16 are controlled by an output signal of said thermometer. In this way, a capacity of the ventilating fan and its number will be determined to meet the maximum quantity of heat generation from all of the enclosed switchboards, causing an excessive quantity of ventilating air, to be considered by a method as conventionally used, capable to be suppressed to a minimum.
