Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable execution of four-wheel drive power train under a bench test in the same state as the power train runs by four-wheel drive by loading the entire power train on a vehicle.
CONSTITUTION: When a power train A to be tested is loaded on an upper stage and a dummy train B is loaded on a lower stage to assemble the front axle mechanisms 5, 7 of their respective transmissions 6, 8 with a front side power circulating system 1 and the rear axle mechanisms 22, 25 with a rear side power circulating system 2, and a motor 28 is driven, power is transmitted to the main shafts 33, 34 of the dummy train B to thereby operate the mechanisms 5, 7 and also the mechanisms 22, 25 through interlocking shafts 31, 32 to thus operate torque loaders 21, 30. Thus, the loads meeting the loading conditions are transmitted to the front and rear side power circulating systems 1, 2 to thereby simultaneously load the four- wheel axle systems.
