Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the effect of a rotor heat on a stator winding by setting up a good heat conductive cylinder adhering to the end-ring side of a rotor winding and a good heat conductive heat element at the section contacting with this cylinder in a frame.
CONSTITUTION: A good heat conductive cylinder 11 of aluminum which adheres to the outside of the end-ring of a squirrel cage winding mounted on a rotor core 1 and a good heat conductive stator heat receiving element 13 is set up between it and the cylinder 13 through a proper space in a stator frame 6. Since this permits the heat generated due to the copper loss of a rotor conductor to be sequentially heat-dissipated to the frame 6 through the end-ring 12, cylinder 11, and stator heat receiving element 13, the effect of the rotor heat on the stator winding can be reduced.
