Abstract
PURPOSE:To stably and quickly obtain the directivity producing the main beam toward incoming of desired signal, by varying the amplitude of the error signal inputted to the control section inversely proportional with the amplitude of the power output of each antenna element. CONSTITUTION:The variable coefficient unit 17 is inserted in the path of the error signal epsilon'(t) from the output of the subtractor 13 to the control section 14, the output epsilon(t)=2Ks epsilon'(t) is inputted to the control section 14 and the detectors 181 to 18n detecting each output of the antenna elements 11l to 11n are provided so that the coefficient 2Ks of the coefficient unit 17 can be inversely proportional to the synthesized output. Accordingly, the convergence of the amplitude and phase given with the weighting circuits 12l to 12n is made stably and quickly without causing oscillation.
