Abstract
PURPOSE: To condense steam concentrated with radioactive waste solution by cooling to 60W80°C with carrier gas spray to condensed waste thereof to perform gas- solution contact allowing to remove volatile constituent contained in the condensed water.
CONSTITUTION: Cooler 10 for cooling the steam containing volatile constituent generated in the evaporation concentration unit 3 to 60W80°C, aeration unit 11 which aerates the condensed water produced in the cooler 10, the carrier gas supply unit 12 for spraying gas, for example, nitrogen air to the aeration unit 11, and the treatment unit 13 and the volatile constituent removal unit 4 which treat the volatile constituent removed in accompany with said spray gas and carrier gas are comprising. In this case, the inside of said aeration unit 11 is composing of the tank 14 in which several chambers are formed with the deflecting plates 15. Both sides thereof are provided with outlet 16 and inlet 17 having respective thermocouple 18 and 19. Further, the gas supplied from the said supply unit 12 is flowing through the flowmeter 20 allowing to feed from air spray 21 into the tank 14.
