Abstract
PURPOSE: To make one-character-space display possible with data of a sexadecimal display part made easy to see on a CRT, by providing a vector generating circuit which assigns the dot position at the time of the dot matrix display of a character and its position.
CONSTITUTION: Memory 11 is stored with data to be displayed, and timing and interface control circuit 12 controls the storing and fetching of memory 11, and timing for vector generation and character generation. Then, this display is equipped with dot-pattern generating circuit 13 for a character part and sexadecimal part on CRT15, and vector generating circuit 14 which assigns the dot position at the time of the dot-matrix display of a character and its position; and outputs of circuit 13 and 14 are dot-matrix-displayed on CRT15 by the signal from circuit 12. Consequently, the one-character-space display can be attained with data of the sexadecimal display part made easy to see on the CRT.
