Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a circuit for detecting loose contact which enables automatic measurement of loose contact property between a stringing and a current collecting element in collecting current or receiving signals by a moving body employing a stringing.
CONSTITUTION: This circuit comprises: A sine wave generation circuit 5 which generates a sine wave voltage in which the potential level and the phase of an DC voltage from a current collecting element as not illustrated are adjusted to roughly coincide, a first full wave rectifying circuit 6 for handling the full wave rectifying circuit 6 for handling the full wave rectifying of the output, a second full wave rectifying circuit 7 for handling the full wave rectifying of the sine wave voltage from the current collecting element, a subtraction circuit 8 for determining the difference in the output from both the rectifying circuits 6 and 7, a division circuit adapted to normalize the output of the two circuits by dividing with the output of the rectifying circuit 6, a third full wave rectifying circuit 10 for handling the full wave rectifying circuit 10 for handling the full wave rectifying of the output of the circuit 9, a low-pass filter circuit 11 for removing high frequency component of the output, and a Schmitt circuit 12 for handling the Schmitt treatment of the output at a given level.
