Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure the munufacture of the same standard products and to omit the optical connector by unifying the luminous element, the photo detector and the optical fiber in the short-distance optical transmission with the control function provided, and thus to ensure a high efficiency for both the construction and maintenance. CONSTITUTION:The input electric signal of terminal 1 is supplied to transmission line 3A via transmission converter 2A, electric connector 21A and 21B. Line 3A comprises luminous element 11, optical fiber 13, photo detector 15 and control resistance 32, and the electric signal output is amplified at reception converter 4A via connector 22A and 22B to be delivered to terminal 15. The output of detector 15 unified as a transmission line functions to lower the output impedance of 15 via resistance 32, and the loss of line 3A can be set to the prescribed level through control of the value of 32.
