Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a hot-water heating system, which is operated while keeping the inside of radiator at negative pressure, whereby it is enabled to prevent leakage of water and damage of pipes.
CONSTITUTION: The heating system of this invention comprises a high-pressure hot-water circulating circuit consisting of heat source unit 5, circulating pump 6, water conduit 7, etc., and a heat radiating circuit consisting mainly of radiator 13. In the above system, hot water is circulated from the high-pressure hot-water circulating circuit to the heat radiating circuit by means of booster pump 14, while keeping the inside of radiator 13 at negative pressure. The system is further provided with a hot-water tank 19 which varies its volume when pressure in the radiator 13 becomes positive, a switch 36 which s closed when amount of water in tank 19 reaches a certain volume, and a timer 37 which functions to operate said pump 14 for a certain limited time period after the switch 36 is closed. When operation of pump 14 is stopped, the heat radiating circuit is disconnected from the high-pressure hot- water circulating circuit by means of pressure reducing valve 12 and check valve 15.
