Abstract

PURPOSE: In the continuous production of polyurethane foam slabs, the top surface of slabs formed is continuously covered with gas-impermeable or low-permeable sheets to eliminate differences in density and hardness between the upper and lower parts of slabs.
CONSTITUTION: The liquid stock of polyurethane foam is fed from foaming machine 4 into frame 3 that moves together with conveyor and gas-impermeable or low-permeable sheet 7 is made to cover almost all top surface of slab 5 after the start of creaming, thus producing polyurethane foam slabs.
