Abstract
PURPOSE:A solid decorative laminate having a colorful figure pattern matched with an unever pattern, manufactured by laminating decorative sheets having two or more colored synthetic resin layers of different colors on a board, and by hot-pressing the laminate using an uneven pattern embossing plate. CONSTITUTION:A sheet base material, e.g. titanium paper, wood free paper, etc., if necessary, printed with a color ink, figure pattern etc., is impregnated with a properly colored (semi)transparent thermosetting resin prepolymer, and coated with a thermosetting prepolymer having a color different from the color described above to form a decorative sheet. The decorative sheet is then placed on a board, e.g. plywood, particle board, etc. with the coated surface upward, and hot-pressed by an uneven pattern embossing plate. According to the method, a board having protrusion parts with the deep color of the decorative sheet on the upper side and hollow parts with the deep color of the decorative sheet on the lower side can be obtained.
