Abstract

PURPOSE:To process the pertinent character simply while referring to contents of the next character without degradation of the line capacity of a communication control unit. CONSTITUTION:Deserializer circuit 4 assembles information, which is received bit- serially from a communication line, to a form of characters and transfers this assembled information to common control part 1 through character buffer 2. Here, shift register 5 of one-character components is connected to the input side of circuit 4 and fetches information received from the communication line and outputs it to circuit 4. Then, one-character information fetched into register 5 is decided by decoder 6 whether it agrees with a specific pattern specified previously or not. When contents of buffer 2 are transferred to common control part 1, the decision output of decoder 6 is added, so that the control of the common control part can be simplified and the degradation of the line capacity can be prevented.
