Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an operation control device which ensures the safety of the crane while permitting the crane to be self-returned to the safety position depending on the operation on the safe side by leaving the operation on the safe side alone continuing while the operation on the hazardous side is suspended when overload is applied.
CONSTITUTION: When a detection switch 35 of a detector is closed as the boom length, the boom angle or the maximum lifting load exceeds the safety allowable limit, a relay coil 36 is energized to close a relay contact 37, causing respecitve solenoids 30a to 34a to be excited. Thus, solenoid valves 30 to 34 are opened. Consequently, pressure oil in hydraulic circuit 1a to 4a and 4b for driving the hazardous side in respective actuators 25 to 29 passes through vent circuit 25 to 29 and is drained to a tank 13 from tank circuit through the solenoid valves 30 to 34. At this moment, a normal pressure oil is fed to a hydraulic circuit 1b on the rope lowering side, a hydraulic circuit 2b on the boom reducing side and a hydraulic circuit 3b on the boom elevating side whereby the operation on the safe side can be done without trouble
