Abstract
PURPOSE: To decompose NOx inexpensively by use of a small amount of catalyst with release of little NH3, by addn. of NH3 to specific high temp. section of a waste gas contg. NOx and O2 so as to reduce and decompose a portion of the NOx, and by reducing the residual NOx in a catalytic reaction zone installed at a specific low temp. section with a specific catalyst.
