Abstract
PURPOSE: To recycle washing waste water and efficiently recover valuable metal contained by regenerating primary washing water of a pickled or plated material in an electrodialytic vessel and regenerating secondary washing water in an electrolytic cell and an anion exchange unit.
CONSTITUTION: Picked copper wire 10 is subjected to primary and secondary washing. Primary washing water W1 is used for repeated washing of wire 10 to raise the copper ion concn. and circulated to deionization chamber dil of electordialytic vessel EDS to be deionized, lowering the copper ion concn. from 3,000ppm to 2,000ppm. On the other hand, conc. liquor W2 in tank 12 is circulated to concn. chamber con of EDS to raise the copper ion conc. and electrolyzed in pickling liquid vessel 13 to recycle the liquor as a pickling liquid as well to recover copper. Secondary washing water W3 is used for repeated washing of copper wire 10 to rise the copper ion concn. to 300ppm, passed through electrolytic cell ET to recover copper and thus lower the copper ion conc. to 100ppm, treated in anion exchange resin unit AER to capture SO4 ions, and used for secondary washing of wire 10 as pure water again.
