Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a suction nozzle, having an annular opening (12) defined by outer and inner casings, which is moved in the ship hold by wheels connected to the driving means incorporated in the nozzle assembly, everywhere including corners of the ship hold, to draw matters remaining on the floor of ship hold into the nozzle.
CONSTITUTION: Suction nozzle 9A has outer and inner casings 10, 11 opened respectively at the lower end portions and it is connected to suction hose 5. Air introducing holes 10c, 11a are formed in the upper side wall of the nozzle. Horizontal beams 11b, 11c are fixed in the inner casing 11 in the manner crossing perpendicularly to each other, and housing 14 for sealedly housing driving means such as motor is mounted on the horizontal beams 11b, 11c. Wheels 13 are attached to the bottom of the beams 11b, 11c. With such an arrangement, nozzle 9A is enabled to move everywhere in the ship hold and can be stopped at a desired position by magnet 15, so that grains or the like remaining at corners of the ship hold can be drawn into the nozzle completely
