Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an internal combustion engine which can attain increase of combustion speed and reduction of heat loss through combustion chamber walls by utilization of jet flames and which can also attain reduction of production of noxious gases, especially nitrogen oxides, and improvement of fuel costs by the constitution wherein such jet flames are collided to one another.
