Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the frequency stability of resonators used for oscillators, filters, etc., by loading dielectric while dividing it according to purposes. CONSTITUTION:Dielectric is divided and loaded to dielectric 42 which is comparatively thin and is so provided that the outside circumference may be brought into contact with the inside wall of external box body 1 for the purpose of holding center conductors 2 and 3 and dielectric 42 which is large-thickness, namely, large- volume and is so provided that the outside circumference may not be brought into contact with the inside wall of external box body 1 for the purpose of compensating the temperature characteristic of the resonance frequency of a resonator. Consequently, a dielectric strength characteristic is improved by dielectric 41, and a dielectric constant is lowered at a temperature rise time by dielectric 42 which does not generate internal stress even for thermal expansion, thereby compensating effectively the lowering of the resonance frequency dependent upon the expansion of the resonator.
