Abstract

CONSTITUTION: In the serial scan type infrared-ray pickup unit using two- dimensional scanner 3 and multi-element infrared-ray detector 5, the output frequency of clock generator 15 is supplied to frequency control type delay elements 14a to 14c via frequency-demultiplier or divider 16 and the output of divider 16is supplied to scanner 3 via power amplifier 17 to control the scan period. In this constitution, a signal is obtained which controls the delay time of the output of multielement infrared-ray detector 5 and the scan period of scanner 3 is driven by the signal of identical-clock generator 15, thereby preventing the lowering of angular resolution due to disturbance.
