Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a device for a waterspout capable of intensively impressing luminous light generated from a fountain even in day and night time by providing the nozzle for the fountain with a transparent luminous body arranged around a part or whole of the nozzle so that the luminous body self-luminates without projecting illuminating light against the device for the waterspout.
CONSTITUTION: A nozzle member 2 is supported at the center thereof by a hollow supporting shaft 4 through several radial arms 3 and a colored or colorless and transparent luminous body 5 having a shape like a convex lens is fixed at the top of the shaft 4, and thereby, water from the nozzle is jetted therearound to form a disk-shaped fountain. A light-conducting means 7 such as glass fibers, luminous fibers and the like are filled within the hollow supporting shaft 4 in order to generate light from the luminous body 5 and one ends thereof are connected to the luminous body 5 while the other ends are connected to a light-source device 9 through a hollow tube 8 penetrating through a conduit 1. Jetted water, collided against the luminous body 5 or a supporting disk 6, forms the disk-shaped fountain while is illuminated by the luminous body 5 luminous with the light from the light- source device 9 guided through the light-conducting means 7.
